Decided to have a go at pasting some of my old website into Google Sites to see how easy it is.

Surprisingly good ! - virtually all the page just comes in when you copy and paste - you don't even need to use the HTML option. All the original links and images are preserved as-is, so you can just leave them to keep the functionality the same, or update the links.
